Dr. Shapale Cooper
Dr. Shapale Cooper is originally from Miami, Florida, where he began his musical career at the age of 4, when his parents brought him a small casio keyboard for Christmas. His passion for music was further developed while at Richmond Elementary School, where he learned to play resonator bells and the recorder. It was then that Dr. Cooper set out to make music his career. He moved on to continue developing at Richmond Height Middle School, where he picked up the Saxophone and later the Trombone. Dr. Cooper began to make appearances at the Solo and Ensembles festivals held every year. Winning numerous awards. Dr. Cooper showed promise at the Miami Southridge Senior High School when he began to study private lessons.
Dr. Shapale Cooper next moved to pursue becoming a professional musician by obtaining college degrees. He first received an Associates in Arts degree with a focus in Music Education at Miami-Dade College (formerly known as the Miami-Dade Community College). He also has a Bachelors in Science in Criminology with a minor in Music Education and Religion from Florida State University, a Masters in Business Administration from American InterContinental University, a well as a Bachelors, Masters and PH. D. in Theology from the Harvest Reapers International School of Ministry.
As you can see, Dr. Cooper is a jack of all trades, but his biggest passion is watching children learn and grow. He wants to help children pursue their love of music.
