Hello!  I have been a teacher for ten years at Astoria Park and prior to that I worked with the Department of Education in the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services.  I am one of several ESE Teachers at Astoria Park and I honestly enjoy sharing my time with all of my students.  It is important to me to have a classroom environment that is a safe, comfortable and an enjoyable space to learn.  Each day my students enter the classroom with smiles and good mornings - along with interesting stories from the day before! 

In addition to teaching exceptional students with exceptional abilities, I have been a volunteer coach/teacher with the "Girls On The Run" organization for at least six seasons.  Many girls have participated on the Astoria Park Team and many more are eager to join because..."Girls on the run is so much fun!"
