Scholarship Opportunities
1. STUDENTS: Start your search early! The scholarship entries below are in order of the DUE DATE.
2. Begin by identifying which scholarships you qualify for and then apply to all that interest you!
- Information has been listed accurately to the best of our ability, but it is up to the student to VERIFY SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS & DEADLINES.
- Many accredited schools will also have their own INTERNAL scholarships.
- Listings here may be LOCAL, NATIONAL, or verified SEARCH ENGINES.
3. Allow enough time to:
~ Write, proofread, and finalize an ESSAY (if required.)
~ Ask for, receive, and attach/upload LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION.
~ Request intermediary TRANSCRIPTS to be sent electronically* [Students must email the school name and receiving email address to our Registrar: ferrellj2@leonschools.net or follow the prompts under 'Ordering a Transcript'] *Final transcripts will not be available until approximately 3 weeks after graduation. You will need to resend to the same or different schools at that time.
4. Complete all parts of an electronic application, and write legibly on a paper application (some paper applications are available in the Guidance Office; some PDF links are below this listing.)

Innovation in Education Monthly Scholarship
A monthly $500 scholarship for any high school, college/university, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has created an original innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others (website, blog series, app, event, etc.)
