Welcome to 5th Grade!!!  My name is Mrs. Atkins and I am so excited to be teaching your 5th graders language arts and social studies this year!!  This is my eleventh year with Leon County Schools and I've been teaching at Ruediger Elementary for seven years.  I've had the pleasure of teaching third, fourth and now fifth grade.  I am a double graduate of Florida State University, GO NOLES!!!  I have high expectations of my students and excuses are not an option!!  I believe every child is fully capable of learning and can truly have a successful year.  I hope you will join me in my journey to help each student reach their full potential this year!!
