Attendance Info - Anytime a student is absent from school or if you have an attendance-related issue, please email resoffice@leonschools.net.

Procedures for Dismissal Changes - All changes in dismissal need to be requested in writing by 1pm on the date of the change via email to resoffice@leonschools.net. Please describe in detail: child's name, teacher's name, normal method of transportation, new method of transportation, and the effective dates. Transportation changes will not be taken after 1:00pm.

Early Check-Out - If you must check out your child(ren) before the regularly scheduled dismissal at 2:50pm, you will need to arrive before 2:15pm. To help ensure students' safety, we will not be able to check out students between 2:15pm and dismissal at 2:50pm. Thank you for your cooperation.

ID Badges & Car Tags - All visitors are required to have an ID badge on at all times while on campus. Please bring your Driver’s License to be scanned.
In addition, you need to have the car tag, be on the student's pick-up list, and be in our system to pick up a child. -
e~Funds for Schools - We offer online payments for your convenience.
Our partnership with e~Funds for Schools will allow you to pay for student fees and registration from your checking account, debit card, or credit card.
When the balance is getting low, you can also receive an e-mail alerting you of the low balance, along with an option to replenish it.

2025-2026 Registration - Kindergarten enrollment for the Class of 2038 is open today! Visit www.LeonSchools.net/classof2038 to get started. Submit your application by Friday, May 16, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a two-year college scholarship, courtesy of Florida Prepaid. Be sure to join us for Kindergarten Orientation at Ruediger on Thursday, April 17, beginning at 9 am. We look forward to welcoming your students on their first day of school, Monday, August 11.

21st Century Summer 2025 Registration - We are thrilled to announce open enrollment for Ruediger’s 21st Century Summer 2025 Program. Roadrunners in rising grades 3rd through 5th are welcome, but spots are limited! Our program is filled with academics and fun enrichment to keep your students engaged! Leon County Schools is launching kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, emphasizing a streamlined online process via a dedicated webpage. Families are encouraged to enroll early by May 16th to be eligible for a two-year scholarship drawing.
