Hello RES Parents and Students!
It is my hope that the remainder of the school year finds you well! As we continue to work to safe guard students, I want our students and their families to know you are not alone.
As we embark on distance learning I want to assure you that the school's counseling office in collaboration with our district social worker and our mental health specialist will continue to provide responsive services to support students and families during our district's distance learning platform. Together, we will address (on an as need basis) basic necessities, social-emotional learning, and mental health needs.
While face-to-face crisis intervention is difficult due to social distancing requirements, we will be supporting students with adaptive coping skills through telephone, and video chat connections. Mr. Green, and Mr. Estell will connect with your child utilizing these same connections.
If your child is experiencing anxiety, stress, or fears related to the pandemic crisis, I can be reached by email at email@example.com, or by telephone at (850) 629-8331. I will return telephone messages during the School Counseling virtual office hours.
Online resources are available by clicking on the school 's counseling resource tab. These resources will help you and your child cope with anxiety from the Coronavirus-Covid-19. As we prepare for virtual learning, stay safe, and remember, we are all in this together!
