I am from Racine, Wisconsin but graduated from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I interned at Ruediger in 1999 and was hired thereafter.  All of my 20 years of teaching has been at Ruediger.  I was a regular ed classroom teacher for eight years, teaching students in 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.  The last twelve years have been teaching P.E. (physical eductation).  

I am the Head Coach of the Raa Middle School Boys Basketball team, where we went undefeated and won the Leon County Championship.

I am also the Executive Owner and Head Coach of the Blazin' Heat Academics & Athletics Basketball Organization.  My 10th grade team won the 2018 YBOA National Championship.  In 2019 both 7th grade and 11th grade made it to the National Championship game, and placed 2nd.  As you can tell, basketball is my passion!

I can honestly say that I have been tremendously blessed and am forever thankful for having the privilege to teach the wonderful students at Ruediger Elementary School.
