My name is Tarran K. Jefferson and I have served as the School Counselor at Griffin Middle School for the past 10 years. In addition to being the school counselor, I am also the  Testing Coordinator, Student Council Advisor, and the PBIS Coordinator.  Additionally, I am the House Leader for the rocking red House of NGUVU. For the 2023-2024 school year, I will be serving as the 6th grade couselor for last names A-L and the 8th grade counselor (but am available to assist in anyway). Even though I wear many hats at Grffin, I always find time to ensure that all of my students are successful at Griffin Middle School. I am a native of Mobile, Alabama and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business and Economics and a Masters' of Education in School Guidance and Counseling from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. I am a member of the Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and am married with three children.
