Free and Reduced-Price Meals

The federal free and reduced-price meal program is designed to support students whose families are struggling financially by providing nutritious meals free or at reduced prices. To qualify for the program, families must complete the online application (only 1 per family). We will process and review your application as submitted. LCS also participates using the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which provides an alternative approach to qualifying for free and reduced-price meals to schools in qualified areas, instead of collecting individual applications. The CEP allows schools to offer free, nutritious school meals to all their students through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
Please note, eligible families with students participating at a CEP school should still submit applications. Free and reduced-price meal applications help our schools receive other critical funding and can assist families in qualifying for other free or reduced-price services, such as internet service.
