Gretchen Everhart School Celebrating 50+ years of EXCEPTIONAL Instruction for Students!
2024-2025
Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! This is our 53rd EXCEPTIONAL year as a school! We have lots to celebrate!We have a Circus theme this year: Everhart: The Greatest Show on Earth! You will find that our staff are "Owlmazing" and are great ringmasters as they help students perform Owlmazing feats under our BIG TOP!We want to welcome our new Assistant Principal - Mrs. Kristy Ward! We are so happy to have her join our staff officially. She will also continue to support the district as the Transition Specialist and the Assistant Principal for the Lively Transition Program and the Adults with Disabilities Program.We recognize that this year may continue to have challenges for us all. We want to provide support to you and your child as we provide instruction to students. Teachers and staff will continue to provide instruction based on the individualized needs of each of the students.We are puttling into place a number of practices that will help us all stay safe and well. We will ask all parents who drop off and pick up their child to wait outside the front office and a staff member will come to assist you with your child.We ask that you do what you can to help keep your child learning and engaged. Setting up a routine with your child and using visual reminders about that schedule and trying to stick with it (to include break times) will help. We know this is a challenge for us all but we have each other. We can do this! It is going to be "Owlright"We truly have Owlmazing students and staff that are Super Heroes!If your family is in of need assistance from social services, please contact us here at the school so that we can get guidance from our social worker to help you.
What is MOST important to us is your well-being. Education is important but so is your health, well-being and emotional health. If we can be of any assistance to you and your family, please let us know.
