    Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair

    The Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair program offers a series of six courses designed to prepare students to take the FADA, ASE Entry-Level, and ASE certification tests and find employment as a skilled technician. Students explore the many aspects and career opportunities within the automotive industry and are exposed to the new “High-Tech” world of automobile service and repair through daily hands-on work in the classroom and opportunities to meet and learn from local industry partners.  Computerized systems, specialized equipment, and industry-specific employability skills are just a few of the topics that are covered extensively in this program.

    Aviation Engines and Air Frame Maintenance

    The Aviation Maintenance program offers students the opportunity to become skilled mechanics and fabrication helpers by providing instruction in the basics of XYZ, with equal emphasis on theory and hands-on experience.  Students learn to confidently use ___ and they learn to work with ___.  Along with the hands-on training, students learn blueprint reading and applied math.

    The Culinary Arts program allows you to investigate the many exciting career options within the food service industry. You will learn and practice the fundamental skills involved in the selection, preparation, and service of meats, poultry, seafood, fruits, vegetables, soups, sauces, desserts, and bakery items. Your preparation skills will be honed daily as you practice in a fully-equipped commercial kitchen. Students successfully completing the program will earn college credit and a nationally-recognized industry certificate issued by the National Restaurant Association.

The Entrepreneurship Program introduces students to the exciting world of creating and owning their own businesses. Students will learn concepts and techniques for planning an innovative business and living an entrepreneurial lifestyle. You will write your own business plan and participate in projects requiring real-world business skills.
