Opening Reception - Mahaska Whitley High School Exhibition

This year, LeMoyne Arts is showcasing over 150 works by high school students from both the public and private sectors. This local tradition invites all students of high school age; public, private and homeschool to participate. Top awards for the Senior Portfolio competition are scholarships to the university or school of the winner's choice. 
 
 
FSU Opera: Of Mice and Men
Mar 4 - 5, 2019
 
 
Based on John Steinbeck's popular novella, the opera's story follows farmhands George Milton and Lennie Small as they travel across California in search of work and dream of owning their own farm. Carlisle Floyd depicts this story of the search for comfort, decency, and companionship in a lonely, cruel world through his signature soaring melodies and thoroughly American musical language.
 
 
Virtual Harlem Exhibit
Mar 4 - May 15, 2019
 
 
The Harlem Renaissance was an age of enlightenment in African-American culture that marked a transformative time in cultural arts, creative expression, and intellectualism.  Immerse in the historical magnitude of the Harlem Renaissance at the John G. Riley Center, running through May 15, 2019. The interactive exhibit will use state of the art technology to educate, inform and excite visitors through three virtual reality experiences alongside murals and artifacts.

Three Artists' Creative Vision: Crosby, Hobbs, and Reilly

Three prominent Georgian artists - Mike Reilly, Annette Crosby, and Walter Hobbs - will showcase some of their latest works at the Jefferson Arts Gallery. Mediums include canvas, clay, and paper.

Earl Washington: Unlimited Expressions of Life

The Artists in Bloom Festival and the FAMU Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery presents a new exhibition, Earl Washington: Unlimited Expressions of Life. Unlimited Expressions of Life features over sixty works of art by contemporary artist Earl D. Washington. Washington is primarily a ceramicist but works in a wide range of mediums, including photography, calligraphy, and collage.
 
 
Spanish Colonial Adventure Day

Interactive family-friendly adventure. Visitors will help the villagers of the 17th century Spanish and Apalachee community perform critical tasks and make important decisions necessary to survive on the Western Florida frontier. Get your "orders" upon arrival and complete questions and fun activities at each station on your quest throughout the historic site.
 
 
Paint Around Gala & Auction

The College of Fine Arts hosts the Paint Around Gala & Auction, a biennial event highlighting artart education, and dance at Florida State University and capitalizing on the amazing arts resources for a night of unique entertainment. All proceeds from the evening will help to fund student scholarships and travel grants for research and conferences.
 
 
Makana
Presented by Opening Nights at Goodwood Museum and Gardens
Mar 4 - 5, 2019
 
 
Experience Makana's mastery of the slack-key guitar style which has led him to perform on stages far and wide, including the Goodwood Museum & Gardens.
He has shared the stage with Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson, opened for music legends Sting, Carlos Santana and Elvis Costello, and performed in venues ranging from Asian and European opera houses to The White House.

Clue: The Musical
Mar 8 - 24, 2019
 
 
The internationally popular board game is now a fun-filled musical that brings the world's best-known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon. The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun-filled evening. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons, and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions.
