Amanda Finnell, MSW
Street Outreach Advocate
Amanda joined the Street Outreach team as an intern in January 2016. With a passion for youth and a true understanding of trauma-informed care, she gained full-time employment with us at the close of her internship and has proven to be an invaluable asset to CCYS and Going Places ever since!
As a Street Outreach Advocate, Amanda works collaboratively with youth to help them build their self-sufficiency skills and exit the streets into stable and safe housing. Amanda is a pro at navigating services and getting youth the help they need quickly so we can reduce the amount of time they spend homeless on the streets.
Amanda shares a birthday with Dr. Suess, her favorite band is Metallica, and she hopes to one day own a ton of cats. Rock on Amanda!
