A little about me...
I am a Tallahassee native who celebrated her 37th year of marriage to her high school sweetheart, Arnie Rogers this year. We have two children, Betsy Rogers Maddox and Will Rogers. On November 12th, 2016 we were excited to welcome a son-in-law to the family as our daughter, Betsy, married Ralph Maddox ~ a joyous occasion for us all! Our son, Will, has been busy also ~ he is an avid thru-hiker, having completed the 2,650+ mile Pacific Crest Trail from the border of Mexico to the Canadian border as well as most of the Appalachian Trail. He is currently living in the Czech Republic, where he is using his certification to teach English as a second language. At some point he plans to use his college degree in Sustainable Development. :)
Before moving back to Tallahassee to be closer to grandparents, we lived in Denver, Colorado, and Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, hiking, biking, yoga, traveling, baking, and gardening. I added a new hobby a couple of years ago when I became a beekeeper with two beehives full of busy bees!
I am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from Florida State University. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology at Auburn University, so... War Eagle AND Go Noles !! :)
