You all know that what we are all going through with this pandemic is not normal. I’m an old man and I’ve never seen anything like this.

But what is normal is all your teachers love you and miss seeing your beautiful faces. We miss your silly antics and your crazy ideas.

We are sending out assignment to you because we want you to keep getting smart. We want you to keep excising those brain cells. If you can't access the technology all you need to do is find something to read every day for 20 minuets, it can be anything a book, a newspaper back of a cereal box, literally anything – for 20 minutes every day.

Some of you might find this new way of sharing and communicating hard or stressful. That’s because it’s new (don’t tell anyone but its new to your teachers too). We are all going where we have never gone before.

If it ever gets to be too much and you just want to talk you can email me at: thornerw@leonschools.net or call me at 850-629-8433.
