Hello.  I began my teaching career in Leon County Schools August 2000 at R. Frank Nims Middle School.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Science Degree in Education Leadership/Administration from the Florida State University.  At Nims I taught Computer Applications, Career Education, Intensive Reading and Intensive Math.  I have taught at James S. Rickards High School since March 2007.  I currently teach Digital Information Technology.  I also serve as the advisor for Brain Bowl and the Black History Brain Bowl teams at Rickards.  My teaching philosophy is that any student can learn!  We all learn in different ways and it is my mission to assist students in discovering their unique way of learning and develop a love and lifelong commitment to learning.  

When I am not teaching I enjoy running, cooking, creating with my Silhouette Cameo and spending time with my family. 

I am looking forward to seeing students on Wednesday, August 11th!
