Announced 10/17: There will be a quiz over Chaper 8 section 1, Cell Theory, on Monday, October 28th. Students should be able to write out the 3 parts of the cell theory, place the key discoveries made by Schlieden, Schwann, Virchow, Leeuwenhoek, and Hooke in chronological order, know the basic needs of all cells, and compare and contrast prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. They should use their green doodle notes from Monday 10/21 to study.
Toothpick Bridge Project DUE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5th.
Students received their bridge instructions in class on Friday, September 27th. You can print an extra copy here. All work on the toothpick bridges must be completed outside of class at home using only 2 materials, white elmer's glue and round uncoated toothpicks. The glue takes a while to dry, especially when it is humid, and often the first attempts are unsuccesful, so students PLEASE start working on the bridge well in advance of its due date. If you need financial help getting toothpicks or glue, please let me know ASAP!
