• Hello wonderful string students! If you see this message, please check your email for a class announcement.

I hope you all are doing well - it feels like forever since we were together learning about music and playing our instruments together. I want to be here for you during this crazy time - and I hope that music can be a way to express your emotions, share time with others (at a distance πŸ™‚), and grow! While we will not start any lessons until 4/15, here are a few details for the next few weeks while you are working on your packets for your other classes.

    1) My "office hours" will be from 8:30 am - 10:30 am Monday-Friday. I will check emails and respond as soon as I can.
    2) If you left your instrument or other necessary materials at school before spring break and need to get them, please email me and I will try to schedule a time for you to pick it up.
    3) I will do my best to use TEAMS, but keep in mind that my website and email are a GREAT way to contact me and check in on what might be on the agenda for the week.
    4) If you need help tuning your instrument/learning how to perform something, please let me know and we can set up a time to talk on TEAMS on Fridays.
    5) The Fine Arts Trip to see "Anastasia" in Jacksonville has been cancelled. Those who have paid for this trip will be refunded by June
    6) The All District Orchestra has also been cancelled.

Your first "assignment" is to please respond in an email (only to me) the answer to this question:

WHAT WOULD YOU NAME YOUR INSTRUMENT and WHY?

You can refer to your class section in the tabs (Guitar or Orchestra). The calendar will show important information for both classes. I will update announcements and assignments weekly - please check each week.
