Welcome! I am teaching 9th/10th Grade Intensive Reading and 11th Grade English 3/Honors. I am also serving as the Literacy Instructional Coach and the Junior Class Sponsor.

I earned a bachelor's degree in English from Florida State University and taught for 10 years at Wakulla High School before joining the staff at SAIL in 2017. In addition to teaching Intensive Reading, English 2, English 3, English 3 Honors, and English 4, I have also taught Speech 1 (Public Speaking), AVID 1, AVID 2, AVID 3, and AVID 4. In previous years, I sponsored the Junior Class Council, Prom, Relay For Life, English field trips, and college tours. I helped my daughters found a Gay-Straight Alliance and the Education Enrichment Council. Outside of the school week, I am a business owner, a busy mom, a frequent volunteer, and an avid reader.
