  • Partnership Between First Baptist Church and Sabal Palm Elementary Recognized as "Outstanding"

Posted by Michael Shivar on 10/18/2016

    fbcSPESpartnership

Sabal Palm Elementary has benefited greatly from a partnership with First Baptist Church of Tallahassee over the last few years. The church has provided mentorship and tutors for our students, sponsorship for events, volunteers for accomplishing various projects around the school, food for faculty and staff, donations for acquiring equipment and applications, and more.

First Baptist's involvement with our school was recognized by the District today with Leon County School's Outstanding Partner of the Year. Though the church does not serve for the glory of being recognized, we are very thankful for their love and care for our school, students and faculty!
