Mrs. Kristie Stephens

Hello, sweet families!  My name is Kristie Stephens, and I am so excited to be one of your child's teachers! Fourth grade is fun-filled year, full of endless opportunities for learning, developing relationships, and educational and personal growth. This year I will help guide your students through the wonderful worlds of Language Arts and Social Studies. But before we get the learning started, here is a little bit about me.

I was born and raised in and around Evansville, Indiana. After graduating from North Posey High School, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of attending Indiana University in Bloomington. Go, Hoosiers! After graduating, I followed my family down to Florida and have been here in Tallahassee since 2001. I worked as an aide here at Roberts for a year and a half before beginning to teach 5th grade in 2005. I taught 5th grade for six years before moving to 4th grade in 2011. I love teaching fourth grade and being a part of this wonderfully supportive and collaborative team!

I got married to a wonderful man, Chuck, in 2013, and we were fortunate to welcome our first child, Cameron, in 2015. My time away from the classroom is filled with adventures with my two favorite guys! I also enjoy reading, board games, movies, travel, and spending time with family and friends.

I am looking forward to partnering with you to provide your child with a meaningul and rewarding fourth grade year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!

Ms. Mailin Muy

Hi. My name is Mailin Muy and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! My goals are to make learning as fun as possible in an outside of the box learning environment, while also providing students with all of the support they need to be successful. Please never hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!

I was born in Miami, Florida and have lived in Tallahassee, Florida for 24 years. I was lucky enough to attend W.T. Moore Elementary, Swift Creek Middle, and Lincoln High where I was influenced and encouraged by many amazing teachers. I then attended Florida State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Go Noles!

After graduating, I taught 5th grade at Holy Comforter and have been teaching 4th grade at Roberts for the past 5 years. I love the family atmosphere found at Roberts and my amazing team!

Some fun facts about me are that I have gone sky diving, bungee jumping, and parasailing. I am also a huge rollercoaster fan! Did I mention that I have two sons? My two very gifted great danes Cooper and Colby. While they are quite large, they believe that they are lap dogs and love to be around humans! I also love to draw, paint, and build.

I am looking forward to all of the adventures and memories that we will make this year!
