• Dear Fifth Grade Families,

    Welcome to Fifth Grade at Gilchrist Elementary School!  This will be a year full of innovative learning, new discoveries, and fabulous memories.  As we usher in another school year, we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you some exciting changes to your fifth grader's school day.

    In addition to your child's homeroom teacher, he or she will also be assigned a Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science teacher.
     
    We take pride in offering a great environment for learning at Gilchrist, and keeping up with the latest teaching methods and practices.  We are hopeful that these changes will provide an academically rich atmosphere for your child to learn and prosper.
