Did you know that Springwood Elementary is the ONLY Elementary school with an official National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) in Leon County? NEHS is a campus organization that recognizes and honors students for four important character pillars: scholarship, leadership, responsibility, and service. Once you have been inducted as a member, there is no need to reapply for your NEHS membership in subsequent years (as long as you have maintained the qualification requirements). As an NEHS member, students will have an opportunity to express leadership on campus throughout the year. Members of NEHS will also participate in at least 1 service learning project.
