Mrs. Rachel Webber

This is my seventh year at Gilchrist and my twelfth year teaching. I currently teach gifted fourth and fifth graders STEM enrichment and math acceleration. I have previously taught preschool, Kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade in Ft. Lauderdale and Tallahassee.

My educational background began at the University of Central Florida where I received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I continued my education while working at Nova Southeastern University's preschool and earned my Masters degree in Brain-Based Teaching and Learning. After teaching for a couple years in South Florida, I moved to Tallahassee where I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Reading and Language Arts Education from Florida State University.

I am a native Floridian and love the diversity of the state's people, culture, and weather. Tallahassee has been my home now for seven years and I am delighted to reside in this beautiful city with my husband, and our son and dog. I love trying new foods, exploring outdoors, cooking, and watching movies.
