Greetings young scholars and welcome to 7th grade! I am elated you are here at RAA and honored to be your teacher.

My passion for teaching began at an early age. I received a chalkboard as a holiday gift when I was seven years old. As practice, I would  sit all my stuffed animals in rows and pretend to teach them how to write; they were very good listeners, writing did not seem to come natural though! 

My father was en educator for thirty five years and I guess I decided to follow in his footsteps and here I am. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education grades K-6 from Florida A& M University and then went on to complete a Masters degree  at Saint Leo University in Educational Leadership. I am certified through the Florida Department of Education in middle grade language arts 5-9 and I am reading endorsed K-12. Altogether I have five children, two furry friends and a wonder husband! When I have spare time, I do my best to find a beach somewhere rain or shine, cold or hot!  

This will be my fifteenth year teaching and I am as excited this year as I was my first, second, third...well you get the picture! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and learning together.
