Mrs. Johnson grew up in the panhandle of Texas, where she graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communications.  Later, Mrs. Johnson completed the P.A.C.E. program receiving her certification in E.C.-6th grade, ESOL and recently received her certification in the Endorsement of Reading. Mrs. Johnson has taught for 11 years in each grade of K-5th grade.  She is very excited to be back in 5th grade teaching math and science.  Having a growth mindset and helping students reach their full potential accomplishing one small goal at a time is how Mrs. Johnson feels each student can achieve something great! Mrs. Johnson has been married for 21 years and has 2 children in high school. Mrs. Johnson loves being apart of the Killearn Lakes Elementary community and feels the number one goal is to always do what is best for the students.
