Going to kindergarten can be exciting and scary all at the same time! You are embarking on the start of your child's school career. We are elated that you chose Leon County Schools for your child’s education. Our commitment to your family begins with a successful transition to kindergarten and a robust school experience.

Getting ready for kindergarten:

• Child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st
• You may register for Kindergarten online beginning March 21, 2022.  Start the enrollment process here.
  • Enrolling for kindergarten early helps us help you.  By enrolling early, we can better plan for your child's arrival on the first day of school.  
  • Find your home zone school.
• Participate in virtual kindergarten orientation by visiting your school website using their URL below.
• Help us know your kindergarten student by completing this questionnaire.
