APPROACHES TO LEARNING (ATL)
What do we want students to know, understand, and be able to do as a result of their learning? By forming clear objectives, we are better able to support student thinking and provide meaningful feedback/ opportunities for learning and growing. Using the ATL creates a sense of cohesion and clarity for planning and teaching.
- The PYP has identified five categories of interrelated skills that help students become self-regulated learners, ask good questions, set effective goals, and pursue their aspirations:
