Distance Learning Welcome

  • Welcome to this new world of Distance Learning!  I know this is a challenging time for all of you and I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to your child's learning and education.  As you navigate this new way of work please do not hesitate to ask questions!  Weekly plans will be posted on Fridays for the following week of lessons and activities.  Please note the bold and highlighted activities that will need to be saved and turned in (due dates TBA).  You may work from the paper packets if you picked them up at school, or you may print and complete, or you may also write answers on a blank piece of paper or notebook paper.  There are lots of activities listed in the plans and not all need to be completed each and every day.  Do the best you can and try to hit all of the skills listed in the learning goals.  Keep in mind that activities and lessons are repeated on purpose to help facilitate retention of the skill.  Young learners need to hear and see new ideas multiple times before a new skill is learned.  Classwork, quizzes, and tests will be a part of this new way of learning.  Please keep in mind that these are a measure of what your child has learned or may need more time with, and they should be completed independently.  Once again, please do not hesitate to ask questions or share your concerns with me.  We got this!!
