Hello and Welcome!

A few facts about myself...I love creating and sharing art with my students. I have been interested in art since I was a little girl participating in the Girl Scouts and I have persued it in one way or another ever since.

In college I attended Drawing I and II, Painting I and II, Sculpture, Ceramics, Digital Photography, Digital Art, and Art History courses along with workshops in Printmaking, Wheel Throwing, and Digital Transfer. I continue to learn and grow through the community of artists and art teachers at FSU, professional workshops, and the world wide web.

Ruediger has been my teaching home since 2016 and the student artworks here continue to amaze me. Some of the accolades that students and my art program have recieved include being selected as a COCA Art Grant recipient, winning the Healthy Lives contest multiple years in a row, winning the cover of Carroll and Company CPAs annual Thanksgiving card contest, featuring in March's annual Youth Art Month at the downtown library, featuring in the annual Winterfest Art Show at City Hall, featuring in the Waging Peace Art Show in FSU's Museum of Fine Arts, and being chosen as national winners of the Made by Milk art sculpture contest in 2017-18.

I am very proud of our past accomplishments and look forward to creating even more!
