Welcome to the 21st Century After-School Program!
My name is Mrs. Akinsola and I am the site coordinator for the 21st Century after school program here at Ruediger Elementary. We are a federally funded after school learning program, which allows us to offer our services free of charge. We provide academic, artistic and cultural enrichment opportunities for students.
Some students receive tailored individualized math support through our partnership with March of Dimes. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities are also offered. These activities are necessary for students to gain 21st century workforce skills. Other activities include a variety of topics such as drumming, cooking, chess instruction, dance class, art club, physical fitness clubs and personal development groups.
Please feel free to contact me at 488-1074 if you have any questions, concerns, or comments. We welcome your input and hope to have open communication between all of the after school participants, parents, and staff.
