This is my first year here at Riley and I am so excited to be your child's teacher. My name is Mrs. Cooper.  I was born and raised in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. I have a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Bethune-Cookman University. My certifications are in Music Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-6. I am currently working on getting my ESOL and Reading Endorsement. This is my sixteenth year teaching and my third year teaching second grade.   Throughout my teaching career, I have taught music, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, 1st, and second grade.  It is my goal to see that each child learns everything that they possibly can and still have fun in the process.
