    Video Production 
     
     

    Students will learn presentation production media, computer knowledge, video editing and photo editing software. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for work in the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster.  The class will develop higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, technical skills, occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Arts, A/V Technology and Communication career cluster.

    Students will produce video products in the form of weekly news broadcasts to the school and other video pieces such as public service announcements, commercials, interviews with community members, and documentaries. They will learn to operate audio and video equipment and perform exercises to develop technical production skills. Students will also use editing software to import video footage, edit, create titles and special effects, and export their final video for broadcast.
