I have been teaching in Leon County for 14 years, and the past six years have been here at Ruediger Elementary.  Before that I taught in two different schools in Gadsden County.  I have the most experience  teaching 5th grade, but I have also taught 4th, 1st, and pre-k.  I guess you could say that my HEART belongs in 5th.  This year I am very excited to be focusing on Math.  The common core standards are driving the instruction in the classroom, but I hope to drive the student's passion for excelling in math.  I have a wonderful family at home which includes my husband, my four daughters, and my two dogs.  I am very passionate about the FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES and CHOCOLATE!!!!
