Greetings! This is my eleventh year teaching at Kate Sullivan, and my fifth year teaching 5th grade. Previously, I taught four years of 3rd grade and two years of 4th grade. I'm very excited to spend this year focusing on my favorite subject: math! I'm a Florida native, having lived in Crestview, West Palm Beach, and Panama City prior to moving to Tallahassee to become a Seminole. I graduated from Florida State in 2008 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with ESOL endorsement. I've lived here for fifteen years and now proudly refer to Tallahassee as my home.

My husband and I recently welcomed our daughter, Marley, to the world on May 8, 2019. She is undoubtedly the most beautiful baby I've ever seen, and I wish I could say I'm biased, but...she really is. We also have an 11-year-old shiba inu named Louie. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to sprawl out in the sun with my Kindle and read. I'm a big fan of suspense/thrillers, so if you have any recommendations, I'm always looking for my next book! I also enjoy cooking, bowling, and exercising, especially kickboxing. When the weather is nice, I like to take trips to the beach or river.

  • These are a few of my faaav-or-ite things:
