Thank you for checking out my website! This is my 14th year teaching, and my second year teaching at Gilchrist. I love being a Grizzly! Previously, I taught grades 3-5 at Kate Sullivan. I'm very excited about the opportunity to spend another year focusing on my favorite subjects: math and science as well as working with my ELA partner, Mrs. Jones!
I'm a Florida native, having lived in Crestview, Wellington, and Panama City prior to moving to Tallahassee to become a Seminole. I graduated from Florida State in 2008 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with ESOL endorsement. I've lived here for 18 years and now proudly refer to Tallahassee as my home.
My husband and I have two daughters, Marley (4) and Clara (2). We also have a 14-year-old shiba inu named Louie. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to take the boat out and play in the water with my girls. I also love to read. I'm a big fan of suspense/thrillers, so if you have any recommendations, I'm always looking for my next book! Other hobbies include cooking, staying active, and trying to keep up with my favorite shows. (I'm usually good for one episode before I fall asleep.)
