Hello, and welcome! 📚

I teach 4th grade Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I have been a COE Cardinal since 2017! I grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and then moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. I majored in Elementary Education and graduated in 2009. In 2011, I graduated with my Masters in Reading Education from Florida State University.

This is my tenth year of teaching, and I have taught reading from fourth to eleventh grade with three years of being a Reading Coach. I knew I'd be a teacher when I was in third grade. I have a passion for working with children, and I have the mindset to help others grow. I hope my experience and love for my career help your child grow this year. ❤️

I am in a long-term relationship, and we have three amazing pets: Dude, Daisy, and Annabelle. In my spare time, I love to run, practice yoga, read, and play sports. I also love doing crafts and DIY projects for my classroom. (You’ll see a lot of my projects around the room!) 😉
