I have been active in the field of education since 1996 with a focus in Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education, and Educational Leadership. This will be my fifth year teaching 5th grade and my fifth year at Sealey. My previous 9 years have been spent teaching 4th grade. I taught 2 years at Chaires Elementary and 7 years at Conley Elementary.  I enjoy creating an engaging learning environment that bring out the best in all students through the use of Flipped Learning. I strive to capture the minds of young learners through the use of technology, student interests, and hands on learning experiences.  I have lived in Tallahassee since 1990. My husband and I have 3 daughters and 2 dogs. I enjoy learning, reading for pleasure, bowling, skating, people watching, family vacations, family fun night, and card games. Leading, learning, and making waves as I go.
