Leon County Schools is currently participating in the state textbook adoption process for social studies in grades 6-12. This process includes a review of print and digital materials by a team of qualified teachers in the field as well as an opportunity for the public to view the content and provide comment.
Print textbooks and resources that have qualified for review based on Leon County Schools’ curriculum and technical requirements will be on display Saturday, February 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Howell Center, 3955 West Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, FL 32312. Curriculum staff will be available to answer any questions from the public.
Student digital texts for social studies courses in grades 6-12 from all four qualifying publishers may be accessed at the links below.
